Place the tea leaves on a hand-rolling work table for roasting called “hoiro”,
Roll them, knead them and roll them again.
The tea is carefully made up over the course of a day.
Finally, it will be shaped into a noble green tea.
The only tea in the world that you will make with your own hands.
A storm of emotion that will come after all the hardships.
I can't put it into words anymore.
The instructor is Masahiro Okutomi in Okutomi farm, a master of hand-rolling that Sayama is proud of.
