On May 24th, a large number of young people came to Sayama, where the 1st. flush tea harvest had just finished. A total of 208 international students and teachers who belong to the Japanese language school "Independent Administrative Agency, Japan Student Services Organization, Tokyo Japanese Language Education Center" in Tokyo. The participants were diverse in race and nationality, and for many of them it was their first time trying Japanese tea, but they had a great time learning about tea, experiencing tea picking, enjoying freshly harvested tea, and were filled with smiles. Our school is located one hour from Tokyo, this is a relaxing space where you can enjoy tea, an ancient Japanese culture, while being in close contact with nature. Sayama Green Tea School will continue to welcome many people from all over the world.
